Workshop Facilitator, Tom Tignor
Tom grew up in Nashville, TN and graduated from Lipscomb University. He has served the church in full and part-time capacities as a youth minister, single adult minister, education minister, worship leader, and pulpit minister at several congregations in middle Tennessee. He retired from 21st Century Christian Publishing in October of 2017 after more than 21 years with the company as editor of their two lines of curriculum and Vice President over all of their publications. Tom currently works with Berea Church of Christ in Lebanon, TN where he serves as a part-time associate minister. He and his wife, Suzanne, have two grown sons. Matt is a youth minister in Auburn, AL and Daniel is a missionary in Myanmar (Burma), Southeast Asia working as a Bible translator. Tom and Suzanne also have 6 grandchildren. Tom has conducted teacher training workshops for 20 years in more than 25 states and Canada. Because he was invited back to so many congregations, he developed 2 more, all new workshops as follow-ups to the initial visit.
